Bonzai Media was awarded the contract to produce and manage the Sure Travel Group’s entire social media portfolio in 2017. Our goals were three-fold: to increase brand awareness; drive traffic to the group’s website and business to its 70-plus travel agencies around southern Africa; and create a loyal, engaged community.
Since then Bonzai has grown the group’s following to more than 100 000 engaged users and social media now accounts for around 20% of all traffic to the group’s website. Using a mix of content marketing blogs, videos and strategic campaigns, we reach an average of 210 000 targeted users each week, and average conversion rates on direct sales campaigns (measured in direct enquries), ranges between 5-10%.
